An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a committed Sister to join an exceptional care home service based in Belfast. As a Sister you will be working with one of UK's leading health care providers.

The dedicated Care team offers intermediate care as an alternative to hospital stay. The team also devotes lots of time to help residents regain their old sense of confidence and independence including physiotherapy and occupational therapy.

As a Sister your day to day duties include:

·         Ensure the delivery of quality care - continually assessing our residents’ needs and wishes, developing the service to enhance their quality of life.

·         Champion independence and personal choice – develop, review and update care plans to meet our clients changing physical, social and psychological needs.

·         Build the positive reputation of the home and unit – liaise professionally with visitors, including family, friends and other external stakeholders.

·         Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines – risks are proactively managed and issues identified, investigated and resolved.

·         Oversee all aspects of medicine management – ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored and administered to our clients.

·         Conduct care audits – monitor standards of care and take corrective action where appropriate.

·         Promote high standards of nursing care for you and your team, actively seeking ways to improve levels of service.

·         Take a leadership role for your team – ensuring all staff are supervised appropriately and rotas are in place to enable the smooth, efficient running of the business.

·         Take an active role in the development of yourself and others – ensure that the team’s skill and knowledge levels are able to meet the changing needs of the business.

 

An ideal Sister must have these skills as they are beneficial for this position:

·         The successful Outpatients Sister must have relevant experience within a similar position in a hospital or clinic environment.

·         Candidates must also have an Adult Nursing qualification and a clean and valid NMC pin number.

·         The Outpatients Sister will be rewarded with a generous salary and benefits package which is negotiable dependant on experience

·         Able to show a can-do attitude always

 

The successful Sister will receive a competitive salary of £17.50 and the overtime rate is £21.87 per hour. This exciting position is a Full Time role for 41 hours a week working Day Shifts only. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Nurse either RGN, RMN or RNLD
